Shifting…

My life has really been shifting in such a beautiful way lately.

It started with a realization: I really love being of service.

Things like helping with events (like the recent VFW Aux raffle), babysitting for a friend, picking up food for someone struggling on the side of the road, or even taking home tulips from physical therapy just so I can paint them later—these moments genuinely bring me joy.

But I also had to be honest with myself about something deeper.

There was a time where I was doing these things from a completely different place.A place of needing to feel like I was worth something.Like I wasn’t just a “lazy piece of crap.”

The truth is… I’ve never been that.But my mind—and my physical limitations—had me believing I was.

Recently, something shifted.

I stopped trying to earn my worth through service… and started realizing something different:

My ability to do these things is the blessing.

The fact that I can help a friend with their kids.The fact that I can show up for someone struggling, even when we don’t have much ourselves.The fact that I can turn something as simple as flowers into art that brings me joy.

These aren’t things I do to become worthy.These are expressions of what already exists in me.

Life has a way of teaching us exactly what we need, right when we need it.

And this realization has sparked something bigger.

I’m going to be rebranding.

I’m realizing I work best when I’m creatively inspired—when I’m creating from alignment instead of obligation.

So I’m stepping into a new space: creative.queen.nicole

If you’re familiar with my original branding, og.queen.nicole, that name came from a belief I still hold deeply:

We are all original. We all have our own stories, beliefs, and experiences. And there is a Queen in each of us.

“Nicole” is simply me—showing up as myself in that truth.

I don’t know exactly where this next chapter leads yet, but I’m excited to find out.
