I'm so excited to share with you a recent ceiling breaking moment.
Picture it, you see something that serious sets your heart on fire.
For me it made me so frustrated, I couldn't keep my mouth shut!
Now I usually try to be as professional as possible.
I try to play nice and don't say too much that might hurt anyone.
My intention is never and will never be to hurt anyone! EVER!!!!
But in this specific case, I had had enough.
If you didn't see my post it was in regards to a recent trend going around.
This trend is a bunch of moms sharing videos of there children,
saying "Receipts in case my kid ever tries to tell counselor
that they had a rough childhood." GAGGGG!!!
As someone who experienced a rather rough childhood and
also experienced having those feelings and experiences dismissed...
This one hit me right in the feels.
And although on one hand it revealed something that I needed to heal,
it also gave me a chance to share my voice, my own experience!
That's not why we are here though...
Feel free to check out the video, but we are here to talk about
what sharing that post actually did for me on a deeper level.
It helped me completely shatter the ceiling that was holding me back.
Because I never wanted to hurt anyone, I never wanted to share those experiences.
I never really wanted to share the places in which I was hurt myself.
I knew that it has a tendency to make others hurt and I HATE THAT SO MUCH!
I don't want to hurt others the way that I myself have been hurt.
But here is the hard truth that isn't talked about enough.
If you go to someone and tell them that they hurt you...
If they are someone who actually cares how they make you feel.
They SHOULD actually feel bad that they hurt you!
Sure, it might burn. It might hurt like freaking hell.
But in the right people it will spark healing, it will spark opportunity.
It will help relight a fire within them they didn't know existed.
So shine that light, on your own experiences.
Let it burn if it needs to.
Because it also sparks healing.
For you and for them!
