When you’ve been at rock bottom, you stop judging how people hold on. You just pray they make it through. 💖

 

My heart aches for those who live with judgment — for others, and for themselves. I mean, I get it.

 I used to, too. But I’ve also come to understand something deeper: love, compassion, and forgiveness.

 

There was a time in my life when sex was an automatic trauma response to anger, 

weed felt like a gentle hug through a tough day, and alcohol became the comfort my heart needed to face the grief.

 

I’m not going to sit here and say I’m proud of it — because I’d be lying. 

But I’m also not ashamed of it anymore either. Those things got me through. 

They were my “whatever it takes.”They carried me here — to this exact moment, 

to this very blog, and right into your heart as you read this.

 

I wouldn’t be here today without the mess. I wouldn’t have this softness in my heart 

or this depth of understanding if I hadn’t gone through it all first.

 

Sometimes life just freaking sucks — and that’s okay.

But when we stop running from the suck, when we let it be what it is… 

that’s when the real magic happens.

 

That’s where the healing begins.

That’s where the light at the end of the tunnel starts to shine through.

 

So for today, do whatever it takes.Hold on. Keep breathing. Keep becoming.And don’t stop until you’ve reached your light — that burning desire that lives inside each and every one of us.
