At first, I laughed. Then I paused.And thought — wow, that’s actually kind of perfect.

I’ve been misunderstood for most of my life.

I never quite fit in with the crowd. Never checked the right boxes. Never felt like I belonged.

But maybe… no one ever asked the right questions. Maybe no one ever really tried to understand me.

And while that used to hurt, it also sparked something powerful. It inspired a whole book series.

Because sometimes the things that break us — become the very things that rebuild us.
